The most notable change for 2012 is that there will no longer be a written test for the program! In their meeting in April, the board of regents replaced the written test for both the first and second year programs with a case study exercise that will put into practice what was discussed during the week. So, studying is still a must since the case study will be a graded exercise.
For the first year program, a highly interactive approach will be used in the afternoons for the class to focus on a single topic and use small group exercises to thoroughly explore campground management topics.
We’ll gather everyone together on Saturday afternoon for a Town Hall meeting to touch on the highlights of the week and to present questions to a panel of industry experts. We’ll conclude with the traditional graduation banquet.
